When my Mum was a little girl, two of her siblings were adopted out, or at least that’s what they were told. Attempts were made to trace these siblings but nothing came of it…..until my aunt sent her DNA to AncestryDNA. A match showed up and was found to be the daughter of my Mum’s brother who was adopted.
My family all come from the Hat Head / Kempsey area and so a get together BBQ and dinner was organised for everyone to meet. Before I left I took a short walk with my Mum and took these photos. I wanted to take more but the weather was erratic between rain, overcast and sunshine lol
